I write bits && grow businesses. I'm from Montreal, Canada. I speak French & English, and can type 121 words per minute. Passionate about Linux, security, and the open source community. As a kid, I was young. Now, I'm still young, but with a receding hairline. First programming languages I've learned are C++ and Ruby. RPG Maker made me want to get better at programming so that I could finish my exciting RPG nobody will nor should ever play. Founded my first company while studying computer programming in CEGEP. Then did a couple years of university in engineering at two different universities in Montreal. Began working as a solo player, creating systems for small & medium businesses, fixing bugs online, and contributing to a couple open source projects. Invested in Bitcoin. Met with MTL Blog. Offered my services. Hired interns from university. Created a CMS. Hired people. Became Chief Technology Officer of Narcity Media. Exited. Back to creating cool stuff for small businesses and contributing to Web3. I consider myself an expert with NodeJS and Typescript, but also Linux (networking, kernel development, infra), as well as Docker Compose. I've been using NodeJs since version 0.10 and have the standard library at my fingertips. Linux has been my main operating system for more than 12 years with VIM being my main text editor. Costco member, owner of a puppy, Pokemon athlete, gym "member", and proud owner of a couple remaining brain cells which surprisingly managed to prevail given the amount of sleepless nights they've had to endure.
