I'm an entrepreneur in the Blockchain and Fintech space.
My involvement in Blockchain began in 2013 and I worked as a researcher, investor, and at times, a community manager.
In 2017, I co-founded a VC/incubator in Berlin, which was listed on the German stock exchange the same year.
Our initial projects involved developing blockchain infrastructures for sectors like manufacturing, automotive, and telecommunications, with an emphasis on data security and IoT.
After spinning out this business, I restructured our Strategy and focus by emphasizing DeFi and cross-chain products and shifting our focus more towards investment, and to a lesser extent, venture building.
Over the years we did around 30 investments and 5 Incubations.
These ventures provided me with a well-rounded understanding of both the investment and entrepreneurial aspects.
After several years I stopped actively working at Advanced Blockchain and transitioned more towards the Fintech industry. I worked as the Head of Growth at a crypto payment provider and later co-founded Peanuds.
I made this change recognizing a significant opportunity in bridging Crypto and Fintech from a 'picks and shovels' perspective. This transition not only allowed me to utilize my knowledge and network but also reinforced my belief that fantastic products emerge at this intersection.
My roles have varied over the years. I began in research, moved to operations, and now, my primary focus is on growth and marketing. These diverse experiences have given me a broad perspective which I hope to be able to apply to anything I work on.
Outside of my primary roles, I am also angel investing. I've made around 15 investments since 2017, with a particular interest in fintech, especially in the SaaS lending niche.
I used to live and work in Berlin, New York and Dubai and currently in Cyprus.
My Longterm goal is to work and live on the Moon.
