He is the author of “Powering Prosperity: A Citizen’s Guide to Shaping the 21st Century” which brings together his decades of experience and research at the intersection of socio-economic development, sustainable investing, and business disruption. Dr. Ghosh was previously Head of Strategy at Mubadala, Abu Dhabi’s Sovereign Investment and Development Fund, and held senior roles at Bridgewater Associates and McKinsey & Co.

Erin Halbrecht is the Head of Marketing, Platform, and Operations at Sorenson Capital, an early and growth-stage venture capital firm investing in product-first B2B software companies. Erin focuses on building Sorenson’s brand through digital marketing, design, events, communications, and content. She also supports the firm’s portfolio companies in their growth to becoming enduring businesses. Erin is passionate about the employee experience and works closely with the Partnership to drive the firm’s internal operations and processes. Erin began her career in venture capital in 2017, and was most recently on the Marketing and Platform team at Bessemer Venture Partners and, before that, on the Operations and Marketing team at Mubadala’s venture capital arm. Outside of work, you can find Erin staying active, whether trekking up the hills of San Francisco, skiing powder in the Rockies, scuba diving with unique sea creatures, or taking Pilates and yoga classes. She also enjoys experiencing different cultures, whether it be popping into unique restaurants or traveling to foreign destinations. Erin's love for the start-up ecosystem stems from her time studying entrepreneurship at Mount Holyoke College, where she mentored and worked with Western Massachusetts-based founders.
