Dr. A.J Minai has over 15 years of experience across alternative venture capital investments, having managed his own business angel fund since 2015, with 26 portfolio ventures across Southeast Asia, North America, and Middle East. Before that, he spent 9 years working with brands like Google, Legrand, & MarcusEvans.
He holds a Bachelors (Honors) & Masters in Technology Management, as well as a Ph.D in International Business & Entreprenology. He has spoken at over 400 events since 2013, & is a two time TEDx speaker. Marketing In Asia (MIA) magazine listed him as one of the 43 Inspirational Icons to follow in 2018.
In 2019, he was awarded “Best LinkedIn Influencer” by Malaysia Social Media Week (#MSMW). Dr. A.J was one of first in Malaysia to join Forbes Communications Council in 2020. In 2022, he was awarded “Entrepreneur of the Year” endorsed by CMO Asia. That same year he became a USAToday best-selling author with his debut anthology: "Game On: Leaders Who Last".
