I’m a Full Stack Web Developer with a background in Customer Support Management and Training. In September 2018 I began my journey through the Columbia University Coding Bootcamp. This is where I honed my skills as a web developer and fell in love with all aspects of development. Beyond my Bootcamp experience; I continued to expand my learning and I now work professionally as a Software Engineer.
I love working with JavaScript, CSS, HTML, NodeJS, SQL, MongoDB, React and GraphQL. My plan is to also slowly expand into more backend technologies to further expand on my knowledge.
In my free time I love to play video games, watch Anime, write, rap, record music, and stream about learning to code. 
Ian boasts over a decade of experience in marketing and advertising, having worked for top public, private, and third sector companies worldwide in industries such as cryptocurrency and blockchain, finance, government, and law.
With expertise in blockchain and cryptocurrency, he has a wealth of experience in marketing and advertising, and is a natural leader with strong line management skills. He has managed large-scale global marketing operations in FTSE100 companies as well as resource-constrained teams in SMEs and start-ups.
Ian is a versatile marketing hybrid with experience in both corporate and startup environments. He combines expertise in analytics, creativity, and technology to break boundaries in his work, while also leveraging insights from past industries. 
Seasoned crypto-nomad currently "orbiting" between Paris🇫🇷, Manila🇵🇭, and California/Nevada🇺🇸.
CURRENTLY:
- I am the Chief Growth Officer at Morph, an Ethereum Layer 2 focused on Onchain Consumer Finance.
- I am an Angel/Advisor to global crypto projects and local Philippines startups, often via Soothsayer, our private entity. (I aspire to someday have Soothsayer be a bigger thing with a dedicated brand and presence, but for now I am deep in the arena with Morph, so this is more on the back-burner.)

MAIN ADVENTURE:
- I was the COO at Yield Guild (YGG), the leading global Web3 Gaming Guild.
- I was a Director at Binance, where I was in charge of 11 countries across the Asia-Pacific region.
- I served on the Management Team at Coins.ph, where I held leadership roles across the Cryptocurrency, People Ops, and Product Development workflows.
- I started my career in Technology M&A and Strategy in Silicon Valley, working in Corporate Development at Samsung NEXT and Investment Banking at Lazard Frères.
CRYPTO SIDE-QUESTS:
- Contract work with the Tokenomics Advisory practice at HLV.
- Scouted and facilitated OFR's acquisition of the 0N1 Force, a leading NFT IP - then served as advisor.
- Co-created the First Mint Fund, a grant program to get artists in Southeast Asia started in the NFT space.
- Co-created an early NFT Art Gallery called Narra Gallery and gave the opening talk at Art Fair Philippines 2021.
- First advisor to Breadcrumbs, a leading Blockchain Investigation tool, when it was just a single founder hacking away on it in Metro Manila.
- Worked with Filament, an early project at the intersection of "Blockchain & IoT" in early 2016 (what we might now think of as "DePIN").
I have been an active member of the global Bitcoin/Blockchain/Crypto ecosystem since 2013; most notably I was an early organizer of the crypto community in the Philippines (I popularized the #CryptoPH tag) and an early member of the San Francisco Bitcoin Meetup (c. 2013-2016).
I studied Economics, Statistics, and French at the University of California, Santa Barbara and did a coding bootcamp at Hack Reactor.
