Expert in Digital Media with nearly 20 years experience -- currently working in the streaming video space, with strong experience in CPG, Pharma, Auto, Telco, Tech, Video gaming and Entertainment clients.
Specialties: worked both sides of the fence -- agency and publisher -- with core strengths in streaming video, video games, movies, entertainment, tech & CPG
I spent over 25 years covering the global video game industry for international print, online and television outlets for millions of readers. I now utilize this knowledge for consulting and custom writing content within the video game industry, while remaining active writing for select print and online outlets. I spent over a decade on the production of video content for online syndication.
I'm co-founder of Moonrock, an agency with over 200 game developers that focuses on community-first custom brand experiences in Metaverse games like Roblox, Fortnite and Minecraft with ROI.
Moonrock also helps game makers and brands interact with Millenial and Gen Z gamers around the world through live and virtual events, social, video and online marketing programs.
I was co-founder of Greenlit Content LLC, which was acquired by esports company RekTGlobal, Inc. in 2019 and is now Metaverse software company Infinite Reality. We helped companies market to esports and gaming fans across Millennial and Gen Z audiences.
On the video production side, I've served as producer for The History Channel's two-hour "Brothers in Arms: The Untold Story of the 502nd" and Starz Entertainment's "Hollywood Goes Gaming." I current serve as game advisor
for Story Kitchen and DJ2 Entertainment in Hollywood.
I was a regular contributor to Fortune, Tribune Syndication, CraveOnline.com, DigitalTrends.com, CNN, Reuters, Maxim.com, Yahoo!, Playboy, Wired, PCWorld.com, Alistdaily.com, USA Today Weekend Magazine, Computer Graphics World, MSN, IGN, EGM Now and hundreds of other gaming and mainstream outlets over the years.
Specialties: I have co-authored two books for Prima Publishing (The 20th Anniversary of Madden and Electronic Arts: 25 Years of Games) and one for Scholastic (How to Get Into Games).
In 2007 I was chosen as one of the Top 50 Game Journalists in the World by influential videogame trade publication Next Gen Magazine.
I run Moonrock, where we help brands meet gamers on the platforms they love and in the experiences they actually want. Our team builds custom games, activations, content, and strategies across Fortnite, Minecraft, Unreal, Roblox (when it makes sense), and even in physical spaces like Comic-Con and Walmart parking lots.
We’ve helped launch major campaigns for Milk, Epic Games, Samsung, Walmart, and H&R Block, always with a focus on smart, culturally aware moves that don’t feel like traditional marketing. We’re not an ad network, not a media buyer with a gaming tab. We’re gamers, builders, and storytellers who know this space because we live in it.
I also advise Story Kitchen on adapting game IP into film and TV, helping bring projects like Dredge and Splitgate into development.
If you’re trying to connect with Gen A and Z or build something new in games, let’s talk!
