As a public policy professional with a background in law & business, I use my legal and business acumen to shape policies that positively impact society. My experience in both public & private sectors has equipped me with a unique perspective on the challenges facing society, and I aim to leverage that diverse experience to create meaningful change within the field of public policy, with a focus on emerging technologies.
It was my passion for public policy that led me to pursue a degree in law, where I gained a deep understanding of the legal frameworks that shape policy. After graduating law school, I worked as an IP Litigation Associate, writing amicus briefs & advising on copyright litigation for multiple high-profile cases, one of which was resolved by the Supreme Court. Afterwards, I worked as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company, where I honed my strategic thinking & problem-solving skills while advising clients in a variety of industries and working with them to address complex business challenges. I then founded 4 companies and organizations, and was involved in the launch and operations of start-ups, gaining invaluable experience in managing operations, developing & implementing effective strategies, and leading high-performing teams. Ultimately, however, my true calling lies in policy--in the application of knowledge from these opportunities as a lawyer in public policy.
Now, as a strategist, advisor, and consultant, I help companies & organizations navigate the complex regulatory landscape of technology & innovation. My experience working as a legislative aide in Congress, as well as my work as a tech policy fellow at various public policy think tanks, has given me a comprehensive understanding of legislative & regulatory processes. I also led the national campaign that resulted in the Phone Unlocking Act being signed into legislation, which taught me firsthand about the powerful intersection between technology and policy, and how these two fields can work in tandem to drive change. And I co-founded multiple crypto policy organizations that have succeeded in changing policy.
