Ralf P. Gerteis is a seasoned entrepreneur, project manager, strategic advisor, and visionary angel investor with over 25 years of experience, including 8 years fully immersed in the web3 sphere. He uniquely blends disruptive innovation with pragmatic business growth from ideation to market success. As the sole founder and CEO of Fusion Consulting AG, he scaled the company from inception to an internationally operating consultancy with 50 employees plus freelancers, establishing subsidiaries in Portugal, Germany, and the USA, ultimately achieving a successful exit in 2016. As an early mover in the blockchain and NFT space, Mr. Gerteis was the first angel investor and strategic advisor to L2 Metis, which achieved unicorn status exceeding a $1 billion valuation. His deep expertise includes DeFi, DAO, NFTs, RWA / Security Tokens, L1 / L2, AI/ AI Agent integration, Web3 Gaming/ Gambling, SocialFi and Meme Coins. He individually designed token metrics / tokenomics for >30 projects. As the co-founder and CEO of Scaleswap, Mr. Gerteis successfully closed the initial funding round of $3.2 million USD (incl. OTC investments), oversubscribed by more than five times. Under his leadership, Scaleswap emerged as one of the earliest and most innovative IDO launchpads built on a layer 2 scaling protocol incl. incubation and acceleration services. Beyond his professional engagements, Mr. Gerteis is a passionate private collector of art/ NFTs. His profound network in web3, mirrored in the max. 30,000 professional LinkedIn connections, has been instrumental in advancing innovative projects and fostering meaningful collaborations. His credibility in the web3 space is further established through his active roles as a startup competition judge, mentor, and speaker at notable industry events.
