I am a software system development leader, with experience of building and leading software engineering teams working on enterprise-class software solutions in global software house organizations. My track record includes projects in financial services, blockchain/crypto, medical services and public sector.
I have 20 years of Software Engineering experience, including software development, design, systems analysis and IT operations. I’ve worked with local and international teams, various development methodologies, from waterfall, through agile, up to highly custom-tailored proprietary product maintenance approaches. I perform well as a solution owner, accountable for functional and technical soundness as well as coordination of engineering team work, plus I am excited to get my hands dirty - I believe in the “when in doubt – go and see yourself” principle of The Toyota Way. Passionate about software quality and how it can be measured, analysed and improved.
I have been accountable for teams serving in both Development and Operation roles, and worked towards bringing those two worlds together by enhancing communication, collaboration and automation.
I am efficient in “building bridges” between clients and engineers, where translating from “human” to “techspeak” (and vice-versa) is often the key skill. Being a software engineer at heart – I tend to understand technology, and naturally collaborate with engineering teams to work towards pragmatic solutions, steering clear away from overengineering.
