I have been in the automotive Motorsports field for 30+ years from my first position in Ferrari F1 as an engine-development test engineer. One of my most rewarding professional experience to date was with the Maserati Corse Racing department for which I was responsible until the end of 2011. We won, in the six years of GT competition with MC12, no fewer than 14 titles. We helped bring the Maserati Quattroporte, an unlikely race car, to success in the Superstars championship in 2011. We created, for marketing-communications, the GranTurismo MC Trofeo, a one-make championship which enjoyed widespread success and popularity with our customers and the specialized media up until its final year in 2015. In my role as head of Motorsports activities for ABARTH S.p.A., I deployed the FIA F4 Italian Championship Powered by ABARTH with ACI-CSAI in 2014 and subsequently deployed the F4 German Championship Powered by ABARTH with ADAC in 2015. After a brief professional experience away from motorsports, I joined the W-Racing Team in Belgium to lead an ambitious program in the DTM, Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters, racing with Audi Sport and the #rs5dtm. The first customer-racing team in the DTM, WRT would successfully pioneer a non-factory approach to the DTM series. Last year I took up a new challenge, having joined BMW Motorsport as Chief Engineer of Track Operations in DTM.
