By day, I’m an instrument, commercial and multi-engine rated pilot and flight instructor (CFI and CFII) fulfilling a childhood dream of being a professional pilot. I have about 740 hours total time with complex, high-performance, high-altitude and tailwheel endorsements, including over 350 hours in an RV-8 and an RV-6A I built and flew around the country.
By night, I'm building a portfolio of small businesses with my wife, Hae-Sin, starting with Josu. Josu is a new brand of flavored sea salts inspired by Asian cuisines. All of our salt comes from our fourth-generation family farm on the tiny island of Imjado, South Korea. Our mission? To help you make memorable meals daily.
Previously, I helped start Climate Changemakers to inspire the climate concerned to be climate activists, started and sold two companies, co-founded two schools for our kids, co-invented the building toy Maker Studio, and built and flew two airplanes around the country.
