I enjoy combining strategic responsibility with a focus on pragmatic delivery to build secure, extensible and scalable products. I am at home in small scale-up and enterprise businesses. I began my leadership and management journey as a freelance musician, bandleader and teacher. I then spent six years as a professional software engineer and advocate for Agile methods, before taking the step into full time engineering management.

I have been working in digital media for 10 years, starting a media agency, and moving across to publisher side to broaden my experience. I have been responsible for managing digital campaigns for clients such as EA and Nokia whilst at media agencies. More recently on the publisher side I was responsible for running their online sales team, moving into developing digital strategies for the sales team to expand the variety of clients advertising on the sites.
