I'm a passionate Software Engineer and aspiring Quantum Physicist. I love working on side projects, such as apps and educational tools in my spare time. My passion for both computer science and quantum physics has brought me to the field of quantum computing! Current software interests: cloud computing, distributed systems, concurrent/parallel programming, and backend system design. Current research interests: quantum machine learning, quantum complexity theory, quantum information theory, and quantum error correction.

Hi there! My name is Emmanuel Ogunmuyiwa, and I’m a software engineer at Apple. In my current role at Apple, I am responsible for supporting a host of frameworks and technologies built around UIFrameworks such as SwiftUI, UIKit, SwiftCharts etc... Before joining Apple in November 2022, I was an iOS developer at Loblaw Digital, where I had a blast working on the fulfillment space. I lived the vision of helping Canadians live life well by addressing various user pain points and business needs at Loblaw and aligning the technical aspect of iOS development to address those issues. During my time there, I created the company’s server-driven UI framework prototype (This was my gift to Canadians using the PC-express App before leaving LD and eventually Canada) alongside various other products. I also developed logging solutions to handle real-time exceptions, and implemented a complete redesign of the onboarding, homepage, and fulfillment pages(Yes, the page that showed pickup & delivery options based on your postal code and current location.... Excoriating complex business logic btw, but worth it). I also worked on refactoring the product tile from Objective-C to Swift, modularizing the project architecture, and pushing for a shift away from the giant monolith repo. It was a fantastic journey at Loblaw Digital! Prior to that, I worked at CanAssist as an iOS developer, where I developed and maintained an AR musculoskeletal application to help measure joint angle rotation for spasticity treatment. This experience fuelled my passion for using technology to solve real-world problems. I'm passionate about leveraging technology to make a positive impact on people's lives.
