My drive is finding new ways to utilize technology to enable people and processes — the art of the possible. I take a consultative approach and utilize a whiteboard (physical or virtual) to uncover what we already know, and then use that context to zoom out and uncover the overall systems and where things can be improved. I'm a systems thinker and a problem solver who works on complex problems which require creativity, divergent thinking, empathy, and perspectives from multiple disciplines. I make individuals, teams, and organizations more effective by applying empathy to technology solutions. I'm an "ideas guy" who can also execute. I have an open mind and technical background that lets me dig in and ask the right questions along with a consultative sales background working directly with customers -- often acting as a translator between technical and non-technical teams. With my background, I’m able to dig through APIs and hack at code, build MVP / POCs, drive technical sales, manage a software team, dig through databases and spreadsheets, wireframe, manage a backlog, produce marketing materials, interface with customers, meet with executives/other departments, work with product management, and run QA testing. I have experience working with Fortune 500 companies, startups, non-profits, medical organizations, and financial institutions.
