Our center strives to create accessible and educational resources for small business owners (in PA, DE, and Southern NJ) through workshops and courses geared towards different stages of a business. As a recent graduate from the University of Pennsylvania, I cultivated a strong foundation in effective leadership, community engagement through programming, and inclusivity in the workplace. My academic and extracurricular experiences have helped develop my skills in program assistance, administrative support, and business management. Sabiné Assih is a dynamic education leader, consultant, and advocate dedicated to improving student outcomes and advancing educational equity. As an Executive Lead and Program Manager at MGT, a leading education consulting firm, she drives multi-year district turnaround initiatives across Texas. Her work focuses on learning acceleration, COVID-19 recovery, and strategic planning, directly impacting thousands of students and more than 700 educators. She specializes in capacity-building to help school districts close achievement gaps and create sustainable, high-impact improvements. Beyond MGT, Sabiné is the Founder and CEO of The Love Initiative, an education consulting firm that bridges high-quality instruction and equity by centering love in learning. CARLOS J. MALAVE

Carlos J. Malave is the author of "Translating Your Success" and developer of the Restorative Power Program, who quickly established himself as a dynamic and passionate speaker. His efforts establishing the Restorative Power Program in classrooms across the country has harnessed a genuine passion into a unique message of perseverance, compassion, and inspiration. His work within KIPP and the Houston community has been featured on ABC 13 News and in 2018, he worked with Texas legislators to help draft and pass a bill to implement Restorative Practices within public schools. Carlos has 10 years of teaching experience in K-12 along with 10 years of speaking and consulting experience in Higher Education. As a Restorative Practitioner his work consists of helping youth find the power in their vulnerability. Carlos was born and raised in New York but now resides in Houston Texas with his beautiful wife and daughter.

I am a graduate of UT Austin with a bachelors degree in chemistry and a minor in business. I am currently enrolled at University of St. Augustine School for Health Sciences in Austin, Texas pursuing a doctorate in physical therapy. I am looking for opportunities post graduation in the sports physical therapy world.

Educator with a strong commitment to equity, to justice, and to childhood. Currently serving as a Master Kindergarten Teacher at the Fanny Edel Falk Laboratory School housed in the University of Pittsburgh’s College of Education. I also teach a combined undergraduate/graduate section of Intro to Early Childhood Education at Pitt. I have a B.A. degree in Spanish and International Relations (with minors in Latin American Studies and Anthropology) from the State University of New York's College at Geneseo, and an M.Ed. degree in Reading Education from Texas State University. My professional interests center around early literacy instruction and language policy, perspectives, and pedagogy within schools. Also actively exploring and imagining abolitionist pedagogies and ways to protect, cultivate, and teach freedom in schools for young children.
