I am a Data Bender working at Investment district. It's been a good six years since I've been fiddling around with investment data as an Investment & Finance Researcher. I can make those boring numbers dance and help clients figure out how to make their investments thrive.
I started out in the financial field with some solid basics, but let's face it, manipulating data is just so much more fun. I even went ahead and got myself a fancy certification as a Data Engineer. I also equipped myself with some cybersecurity knowledge. I guess you could say I went from finance to finesse to guardian of zeros and ones.
Talk about multiple skillsets; I can calculate interest rates, solve spreadsheet mysteries, fight off malware, and even write a biography.
Now, I'm looking to take my talents to the relevant industry. I describe myself as a "ruthless" team player and an "amiable" leader, meaning I'll go to the ends of the earth to get the job done, but I won't forget to pat my team on the back and give them a good old thumbs up for a job well done. I'm like the perfect balance of a drill sergeant and a puppy.
