Shubhi is a Wharton 2nd year student, with >7 years of high-frequency trading experience. She started her career with Citi in its Options Market Making division as an application developer and then switched to Tower Research Capital where she worked across its India, and NY offices as a Project Manager and a Technical expert. During her tenure at Tower Research, she spearheaded the risk management suite integration across 40 trading teams, onboarded leading crypto exchanges such as CoinBase, GDAX etc and, built nanosecond latency risk monitoring solutions. At Citi, she led the development of ultra-low latency derivative pricing engines. She is also sitting on the boards of Wharton FinTech Conference and “Penn Blockchain” trading committee - working at the intersection of high frequency trading and DeFi. Technologies she has hands-on experience are STL, Boost, Synchronization mechanisms like Mutexes and Spinlocks, RPC mechanisms like Protocol Buffers, IPC mechanisms like shared memory and message queues, socket programming in TCP, UDP and zeromq, databases like Postgresql, MySql, RocksDB, Redis, High availability solutions like Kubernetes and Docker, frameworks like Qt, Staged Event-Driven Architecture, etc.
