As an entrepreneur, I co-founded VoiceSignal, a speech and language technology startup in the wireless industry that put state-of-the-art voice technology into the hands of 100s of millions of mobile handsets worldwide before being acquired by Nuance in 2007. I was also an early advisor and investor in Shaser Bioscience, before joining as COO. Shaser was a CPG startup that was regulated by FDA as a Class 2 consumer medical device company. Our aesthetic consumer products for women were sold online, on TV, and at retail around the world before we were acquired by the Remington division of Spectrum Brands in 2011.
