Independent Consultant specialising in Marketing and Diversity & Inclusion. I am now retired but most recently was acting as a marketing consultant for ISTARI - a new kind of cyber security platform in London. Prior to September 2019, I worked extensively in Diversity & Inclusion at Bloomberg to help drive a culture, a process and a commitment to allow all employees to achieve their potential. For five years I served as the first Chief Marketing Officer at Bloomberg L.P, the leading provider of financial news and information. I was tasked with building a marketing organization from scratch. Previously, I was CMO at Sears Holdings and prior to that held various senior marketing roles at the IBM Corporation spanning a 30 year career in Europe and the US. Before moving back to the UK in 2019 I chaired the New York Board for UNICEF, served on the Board of Advisors of Catalyst, and was a member of the US Women’s Forum of New York. I currently serve as a member of the Campaign Leadership Board for Glasgow University and am an honorary professor of Glasgow Caledonian University.

Ashish Gupta is a partner with PwC Switzerland focussing on Cyber transformation and resilience with a specific focus on Pharma and Manufacturing sectors. Prior to joining PwC Switzerland, Ashish spent 3 years as a Partner with ISTARI - a $2B cybersecurity venture set up by Temasek (singapore HQ and one of the largest sovereign wealth funds). He managed and scaled a portfolio of 8 innovative Cyber companies - Sygnia, Claroty, Armis, BlueVoyant, Ensign, Prevalent AI, Sonrai and Axio. Before ISTARI, he has held several global roles with PwC in Cybersecurity in North America, Singapore and India. He has significant experience in building the practice from ground up in several geographies. He has over two decades of management consulting experience in strategy, planning, architecture, implementing and operating solutions for companies in healthcare, Pharma and Finance Industries. He prepares C-level executives to present their strategy, roadmap and spend to board level members. Clients recognize Ashish for his unique blend of technical expertise and strong business acumen. He has established himself as a “change agent” and trusted advisor for his clients. Ashish is an accomplished public speaker and thought leader in various topics related to Cybersecurity, privacy and risk. Ashish is a Computer Science engineering graduate from NIT Durgapur in India and MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
