I am a community organizer, permaculture designer, and technologist weaving tech and ecology to create a regenerative future and running experiments in bioregional coordination.
Through my background in non-profit communications, government relations, and software engineering, I have spent over a decade at the forefront of using technology as a tool to build and mobilize communities to create positive change. As a Core Steward at Terran Collective, I build systems and tools for a regenerative future, including Hylo, the prosocial coordination platform for purpose-driven groups.
At Hylo, I lead partnerships, communications, and product development. I facilitate conversations with Hylo partners to co-design tech solutions to the challenges they face—which are rarely purely technical. Through this work, I have developed a specialization in participatory governance and community stewardship, guiding numerous groups to grow communities that are equitable and impactful.
I am also a land steward with a passion for place-based organizing and regenerative agriculture, participating in community governance experiments with Regen Foundation (https://regen.foundation/) and OpenTEAM (https://openteam.community/). I am a ProSocial facilitator and a proponent of the Sociocracy method of dynamic governance. I hold a B.A. in Politics from the University of Virginia.
