Currently a 6-8 Art Teacher. Previously held a position as a K-8 Art Teacher at a Latino Charter School on the East Side of St. Paul. My teaching experience includes working with students grades K-8 in small and large group settings. I have experience in working with set curriculum as well as developing my own lessons/curriculum based on state standards. I have worked specifically with EL students as well as students in need of Math and Reading interventions. I was graciously given an opportunity to dive into working with creativity and teach Art to students who had not previously had it as a specialist option, and now have allowed myself to grow in my work and move on to a position teaching students Art in grades 6-8. On my own time, I coach dance, keep busy with friends and family, and love to travel. Being busy is what makes me unique. I am well known to fill my time with many different activities and ventures.
