Early in my IT career, I built and managed an enterprise network that grew from two offices to 225 in the US and Canada, including a central data center for global operations. I defined IT functions and infrastructure for Sovrn and later drove meaningful progress toward effective security solutions within a high-technology, high-volume company. I excel at assessing business needs and pacing solution implementations to avoid disruption. Using my relationship-building skills, I gain buy-in for new processes and requirements at all levels, from the C-level to individual contributors.
MY TOP CONTRIBUTIONS
★ Migrated Sovrn’s internet advertising exchange from a single co-location data center to 6 IaaS data centers in the US and EU to support 100B ad requests each day. Along the way, I saved 20% in costs while maintaining a consistent level of service.
★ Modeled an enterprise-wide information security system on ISO 27001 standards; this included choosing the security framework, implementing controls and vulnerability management solutions, and launching GRC solutions.
