I’m the Founder & CEO of Geofund, where we’re building technology to move product traceability at the speed of commerce. From fuels to industrial inputs, I believe the next era of trade will be traceable-by-default — and I’m excited to be helping shape that future. I’m an entrepreneur and innovator with deep experience founding and leading venture-backed businesses, with a focus on climate solutions, capital markets, and technology. Passionate about the intersection of climate, economics, and financial markets, I’m a systems thinker dedicated to tackling humanity’s biggest challenges. Previously, I founded and served as CEO of Aquicore (2012–2022), a venture-backed software company specializing in ESG reporting and analytics. Under my leadership, Aquicore raised over $30 million in venture capital, acquired a competitor, and became a leading US platform for institutional real estate investors. I hold a degree in Physics from Florida Tech and began my career as a software engineer, deploying multimillion-dollar solutions for global telecom providers. In 2013, I completed a dual MBA program at Georgetown and London Business School. As a first-generation American and dual US–EU citizen, I bring a cross-cultural perspective to building businesses that span borders.

My love for engineering started in 2nd grade when I saw my brothers competing on my high school’s FIRST robotics team. During my own time on the team, I narrowed my focus to Computer Engineering and eagerly attended RIT’s Computer Engineering department for my BS/MS and later CMU’s Electrical & Computer Engineering department for the start of my PhD. During undergrad I used my four internships to explore the areas of web design, cyber security, computer vision, and digital signal processing at Exelis (now part of L3Harris), Parsons, MITRE, and Qualcomm respectively. These experiences narrowed my interests into low-level programming and hardware which lead to my research choices of neuromorphic computing for my master’s and power grid simulation for my doctoral research. My goal has always been to program and to teach and while my original path was to obtain a PhD to become a research professor, my time at CMU not only taught me many technical and personal skills, I also learned that a research professor was not the end goal I desired. As such, I recently discontinued my PhD and am looking for positions in industry in low-level/embedded programming and eventually a part-time adjunct professorship to scratch my teaching itch.
