Daniel currently leads corporate development at MCM. MCM is a fascinating luxury fashion brand originated from München, Germany, and now operates across the globe. Daniel Shin has worked at various positions of multinational companies and high tech ventures. He is a founding member and managing partner of KingsBay Capital, a Korea-U.S. cross-border venture capital firm with offices in Seoul and San Francisco. Daniel jointly works with DreamPlus, a new business initiative of Hanwha Group, a leading industrial conglomerate, embracing emerging entrepreneurial talents in Asia and running a global seed investment program. Prior to that, Daniel used to manage global venture capital and private equity investment program on behalf of Korea Telecom. Prior to founding KingsBay Capital, Daniel was executive director and head of U.S. venture investments for BINEXT Capital, a publicly-traded international venture capital and private equity investment firm. He has published several books and is a frequent speaker on subjects related to innovation, tech entrepreneurship, and convergence.
