Hello! I'm Vikas Kushwaha, a Senior Graphics Designer specializing in Marketing and Communication at Grant Thornton Bharat. With a background in Civil Engineering, my journey is a testament to transformation and resilience. Originally from Bihar, I rose from being an average student to topping the charts in 10th grade with the Bihar Board. My pursuit of higher education led me to KIIT University in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, where I discovered my passion for graphic design amidst the vibrant campus life. Driven by curiosity, I honed my skills through online resources like YouTube, delving into the intricacies of graphic design. Post-graduation, I embarked on a journey into the professional realm, starting with an internship for special projects, including the Odisha Hockey Men's World Cup 2018. This experience paved the way for my role as a Graphics Design Consultant at Grant Thornton in 2019. Within the Sports and Youth Services department, I collaborated with esteemed organizations such as Hockey India, FIH, and the Sports Authority of India, crafting captivating visuals for various sporting events. In 2021, I transitioned to the Marketing and Communication team, where I create impactful marketing collaterals. It's a role that fills me with pride as I contribute to maintaining client relationships and fostering national success through my work. Looking ahead, my sights are set on transitioning into the realm of user experience design. My journey embodies resilience, passion, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. Starting out as a MBA graduate and gaining progressive leadership experience has lead to a passion for new technologies; in particular solar, and blockchain.
