Growing up, I used to look up to fictional heroes with admiration – I wanted to become one. To my surprise, I realized superheroes do exist, just in other capacities. Born in Northwest Africa, I was exposed to a society lacking attention towards its environment, and I believe this lay the foundation for my wanting to contribute myself to the field of Environmental Engineering. I am particularly passionate about working with critical resources such as air, earth and water. It is a personal mission of mine as an environmental steward and Engineer-in-Training to create, disseminate and integrate sustainable practices in society. I wish nothing else than to contribute my skills to lay the foundations for a more sustainable future.
