As the CEO of Riparian Technologies and Co-COO of Riparian Holdings, Chris is currently driving the strategic growth of Riparian’s technology initiatives, integrating advanced PropTech solutions to optimize the company’s real estate portfolio and operations. His leadership at RipTech is pivotal in supporting Riparian Holdings’ ambitious goal of scaling from 1,600 to 20,000 single-family rental homes in the next five years, focusing on the SFR market. Previously, as Co-Founder and CEO of Urgently (NASDAQ: ULY), Chris led the company from its inception in 2013, scaling it to over $180M in annual revenue by 2022. Under his leadership, Urgently transformed from a roadside assistance disruptor into the leading digitally native platform in the industry, securing investments from industry giants such as BMW, Jaguar Land Rover, Porsche, Enterprise, Verizon, and Allianz. Chris built key operational partnerships with global brands, including Mercedes, Uber, BMW, and Rolls-Royce, establishing Urgently as a global leader in its field. Before Urgently, Chris co-founded and led SeniorChecked, a digital background screening platform for senior care, which was acquired by N.E.W. Assurion in 2011. His ability to turn around underperforming businesses is exemplified by his success at AOL Local in 2007, where he transformed the division into a highly profitable unit, making AOL Yellowpages the #1 local search directory. Chris was also a key player in launching 10-10-321 at MCI, turning it into a $1B business within six months of launch. Beyond his business achievements, Chris has made significant contributions to the film industry, producing films that have screened at prestigious festivals like Sundance and SXSW. His creative side also led him to co-found Animators at Law, pioneering the use of digital animation in jury trials. Recognized for his entrepreneurial leadership, Chris was awarded EY Entrepreneur of the Year in 2019. He remains an active advisor to several startups, offering strategic guidance to help other entrepreneurs achieve success.
