Jim Peluso is an innovative technology leader with over 20 years of experience leading global IT and digital technology teams across corporate, higher education, and consumer environments. As Head of Global Core Platform Services at FM, he manages teams developing hybrid cloud infrastructure, global networking, IT automation, and data center services. He is focused on initiatives such as infrastructure rationalization, return on investment, and total cost of ownership. He's researching and reviewing the implications of Generative Artificial Intelligence's (GenAI) impact on global infrastructure and operations. Previously, he led the innovation task force, upskilling initiatives, and experimental advancements. As Director of Digital Engineering at Hasbro, Inc., Jim led a high-performing team developing consumer-facing digital experiences and prototypes. He transformed the Global Infrastructure & Operations team into a profit center. His team collaborated with business partners and launched digital products, including the Pulse Mobile Application, Clue, Risk, Twister Alexa Skills, and more. He facilitated workshops generating over 45 product ideas, several of which advanced into development. Jim excels at translating technical concepts into actionable insights and aligning solutions with organizational goals. His expertise includes leadership, project management, Agile methodologies, digital strategy, cloud computing, and information security. He fosters collaboration across cross-functional and global teams. Jim, an adjunct Community College of Rhode Island professor, teaches Introduction to Business & Entrepreneurship, connecting course material to real-world applications. He holds an MBA from Salve Regina University and a bachelor's in Computer Information Systems from Rhode Island College. Jim is a CISSP, Certified Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Scaled Agile Framework Agilist, with management certificates from Harvard Business School and Bryant University. Active in his community, Jim serves on the advisory board at the New England Institute of Technology, mentors at YearUp Providence, and coaches youth sports. As Vice President and Coach of Barrington Little League, he is dedicated to giving back and fostering growth in others.
