I am a Ph.D. researcher in Engineering Mechanics at Virginia Tech, working under the guidance of Prof. Suyi Li in the Dynamic and Architected Robot and structurE (DARE) Lab. My research sits at the intersection of geometry, mechanics, and robotic computation, with current focuses on: • Origami-inspired deployable structures (e.g., Hyper-Yoshimura geometries) • Meta-stability and reconfigurability in robotic systems • Physical Reservoir Computing and Mechanical Intelligence With a background in theoretical mechanics and electrical engineering, I approach robotic systems from both a structural and computational lens. My long-term vision is to help engineer robots that learn, adapt, and morph—using mechanical logic embedded in materials.
