I am a frontend-focused software engineer with a passion for building beautiful, intuitive, and accessible applications. In 2023 I returned to Possible Finance to work on improving and stabilizing the flagship Loan product through both platform improvements and customer-facing feature development. My prior work includes software engineering roles with entertainment, fintech and healthtech apps, nonprofit and healthtech web platforms, teaching positions at University of Washington and Galvanize Seattle, and healthtech consulting at Deloitte and Slalom. I learn fast, work smart, and seek input from both teammates and users with diverse experiences and expertise, and have a strong command of both the technical and the UX sides of web and mobile apps. I have extensive experience as a presenter and panelist at various conferences, and a significant body of open source work dedicated to the treatment of diabetes (automated insulin delivery, glucose monitoring, etc.). My community involvement includes serving as a mentor/instructor for the MentorCruise SETM program and as a former Advisory Board Member for WEGO Health. I'm a graduate of USC (Industrial & Systems Engineering) and Galvanize's full stack web development immersive.
