I hold a BSc in Computer Science and Economics (majoring in enterprise informatics) and an MSc in International Financial Analysis.
In the course of my professional life I got to manage projects, campaigns and programmes within a number of different sectors (non-profit, public and private) and industries: marketing & advertisement, energy & transport, civil service, education, charities.
As an account manager at the country’s first online marketing agency I planned and executed web development projects and online advertisement campaigns. As a civil servant at the Swedish EPA I drafted and implemented international development projects. I have served as a Field Fellow with the largest online microfinance platform in the world, Kiva.org, building capacity of the local staff at three of Tajikistan’s MFIs.
I also spent a decade working for international environmental non-profits, including Greenpeace, WWF and 350.org. Back in 2009 I co-founded a social enterprise, Wake-Up Call, that executed over 100 projects over the course of 9 years all over Europe, with an aim to inspire a new generation of young leaders who will work for a more sustainable, peaceful and equitable world.
In 2014 I launched an online crowdfunding platform that facilitates microfinance investments in small-scale renewable energy projects in rural parts of Africa.
I earned an MSc degree in International Financial Analysis from Jönköping University in Sweden (I graduated on the school’s Honour List). My thesis project was a study of investment analysis of digital assets portfolios. The courses included in my program at Jönköping International Business School were: investment analysis, portfolio management, advanced security markets, derivative securities and financial contracts.
My professional interests include DeFi, FinTech, Blockchain, microfinance, portfolio management, and compliance.
