I was fortunate to start my technical career in software quality assurance where I was able to learn how to look at problems under different lenses. I was more fortunate when I discovered a great interest and aptitude for cyber security. Since then, I have sought to learn and grow within the domain of cyber security where I have earned several certifications and a bachelors degree in Cyber Security and Information Assurance. My resume demonstrates my experience and outlines some of my previous initiatives that include but are not limited to the following: - Educating developers about secure coding practices. - Automation and integration of SAST, DAST, and open source security testing tools into CI/CD pipelines. - Acting as a liaison between auditors and development teams for PCI, ISO, and GDPR audits. - Generating reports that accurately communicate risk to internal and external stakeholders. I have extensive experience supporting SaaS platforms and Developer products, such as APIs and SDKs, and working directly with developers to build their integrations. I frequently interface with non-technical stakeholders and am adept at explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences. I have a BS in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Boston, with my primary experience in Java, Python, and SQL, as well as mobile development concepts for both iOS and Android.
