Brock is a brand & product strategist based in frosty Minneapolis. He’s currently working on making magical cryptographic internet money like Bitcoin more friendly, approachable, and adoptable for the masses through thoughtful design and delightful product experiences. Prior to crypto, he spent 6 years in journalism and public policy, helming projects for the World Economic Forum, Global Ocean Commission, Arctic Council and others. His work on News Deeply’s deep-dive coverage of global crises & conflicts won the National Press Foundation’s 2013 Excellence in Online Journalism Award, and was hailed by TIME as “the Future of News.” Previously, he spent over a decade working in the Twin Cities’ vibrant advertising & marketing arena where he directed award-winning campaigns for brands big and small, including 3M, Adobe, Best Buy, Kodak, General Mills, Microsoft, UnitedHealth and Target. His work has been recognized by AdFed, Promo Magazine, Adweek and more. An avid photographer and outdoorsman, Brock can often be found trekking the backwoods of northern Minnesota, camera in tow.
