Amine El Kaouachi founded Quantolio with the mission of helping portfolio managers take informed decisions from their data. Amine's background is in securities trading, quantitative research and investment management at leading sell-side institutions and pension funds, including JP Morgan, the Royal Bank of Scotland, RBC Capital Markets, Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, and CPP Investment Board. He holds a B.A. Economics with Mathematics and Finance from McGill University and a M.Sc. Financial Engineering from HEC Montreal. He also obtained the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation from the Canadian Securities Institute.

I was very gratified when in 2018, after almost ten years of studying emotions in lab settings, I developed a new AI powered method of collecting emotions from a new biological input: touch. I validated and published my study along with renowned scientist (and inspiration), Dr Manfred Clynes. This is a more realistic and scalable way of understanding user emotions and measuring the non-verbal in the real world as people express themselves non-verbally two thirds of the time through gestures interactions on touchscreen devices thousands of times a day.
