I am passionate about working in the public sector. Following my recent graduation from Colorado College, I am working as a Field Instructor at Telluride Academy where I am leading outdoor trips for youth. This experience is teaching me leadership and immense responsibility. In the fall, I would love to find a career where I can apply these skills and help to support the livelihood and wellbeing of those in my community.

As a serial entrepreneur, I have pioneered companies that have transformed emerging market economies. Leveraging technology, I have had success building and scaling profitable operations to influence social change while generating revenue and growth. My first company, Juhudi Kilimo, started with the idea of providing small farmers in Kenya with access to financing, enabling them to reinvest in their businesses. Over the course of 6 years, I raised $22M+ in debt and equity, expanded to 20 field offices, and contributed to $30M+ in life-changing loans for 50K+ people. Juhudi Kilimo was the first-ever Certified B-Corporation in Africa and featured in CIO Magazine’s Top 100 list. As Co-founder & CEO of Leaf Global Fintech, I deployed a blockchain-backed digital wallet across 10 African countries to help refugees and migrants to protect and move assets during flight. Leaf was recognized in 2018 at South by Southwest (SXSW), the National Science Foundation, Techstars, the United Nations, and The Vatican. Leaf was acquired in 2022 by IDT Corporation (NYSE: IDT), a global provider of fintech, cloud, and traditional communications services.
