At the time of writing this, the human attention span is listed at 8.25 seconds. So, I’ll spare you the who, what, and when—and get right to the why.
As a seasoned marketer, I’ve always been challenged to think about my audience—and I’ve had some of the most diverse: kids, families, college students, sports fans, faculty, millennial consumers, and gas customers, to name a few. The ‘why’ has been the foundation of my execution process. Why would someone shop here? Why would a parent send their child to this university? Why would someone invest in a hockey program? Why would anyone listen to this podcast? Understanding the consumer's ‘why’—instead of your own—while delivering a message in less than 8.25 seconds is no small feat. But it’s a challenge I welcome—and consistently exceed at.

How have I been able to tap into the “why?” By taking on roles that provide a 360-degree view, turning the consumer’s “why” into “yes.” From writing catchy email subject lines and launching social media channels to developing sales incentives, building website content, and even hosting, producing, and editing podcasts. I craft press releases, create witty store signage, develop brand campaigns, and plan large-scale events—all at the same time.
