I have an intense drive to understand my surroundings. On the one hand, I satisfy this drive through hands-on research and experimentation. On the other hand, I steer this drive into a positive direction by seeking out supportive, rewarding surroundings and by being supportive to those surrounding me. This holistic approach to understanding my surroundings enables me to sustainably perform to the best of my abilities while constantly pushing the boundaries of what I can do. In 2017, I graduated from the University of Kentucky and joined Cypress Semiconductor as a CAD Engineer. My largest project was a system consisting of a Ruby on Rails API, a Postgres database, a SPA React frontend interface, and automated daemon clients which query the API. My favorite part of software engineering is that there is always something new to learn. Learning is important to me because my skill is not in any particular language, coding style, or even computers in general; my skill is in the ability to analyze, to see patterns, and to understand anything to which I commit my time and energy. A few years ago, I started to develop an interest in cooking. Now, I bake my own sourdough every week while searching for the perfect technique. Next I wanted to see what was happening before my ingredients arrived at the market, so I built an aquaponics garden in my apartment. In October 2018, I took my yoga and mindfulness practice to the next level by obtaining a yoga teaching certification. Now, I work with others so that we all can connect with our brains and bodies more clearly in order to make confident, calm, and constructive decisions. Through my teaching, I hope to learn how to better spread love in all that I do. In July of 2019, I moved to Denver to help further my passion for the outdoors. I accepted a position with Eide Bailly as a NetSuite developer. For 2020, we have relocated to Las Vegas while my partner completes her Dietetics certification. In all areas of my life, I seek constant growth for myself and those around me. Let's talk, I think we can learn from each other!

I am versatile with hands-on experience in supply chain, warehouse management, purchasing, vendor management, operations, product development, sales, customer service and ERP administration – most skills honed at a company that grew from 4 workers when I started to 120 employees and a revenue of $35M in 2013. Because my job is to follow the needs of the company, I eventually developed and implemented procedures while also improving procedure that saved the companies time and money while increased productivity in all aspects of the product life cycle. While doing all of this, I was also the functional administrator for our NetSuite ERP system.

Stephen Lewis is a Trust Officer at Bridgeford Trust Company and administers both directed and discretionary domestic and international trusts. With five years’ experience in the trust industry, he helps administer client trusts that utilize South Dakota’s modern, flexible, and top-tier trust laws. Prior to joining Bridgeford Trust Company, Stephen started his career in risk management and gained a wealth of knowledge on various types of trusts and how they are administered. Over the years, he worked in traditional finance as well as the fintech industry with positions at JTC, First National Bank in Sioux Falls, and BitGo.
