The first decade of my career was in the financial services industry managing mid to large-scale technology adoption initiatives, including around the Y2K bug, migrating to a new finance system, & with a team introducing NZs first online origination, credit risk assessment & risk pricing vehicle finance platform, enabling greater responsible lending.
The next decade was in vocational education coordinating research projects & not-for-profit sector strategic relationships, programme & courseware design & development, teaching, establishing work integration & student internship opportunities, & leading the development & delivery of Wintec's 1st micro-credentials in collaboration with industry.
I was also doing pro-bono work as a program management consultant for a not-for-profit in the disability sector where I established a PMO & worked on technology alignment initiatives supporting their vision of enabling ordinary lives.
From 2017 I was involved in tech sector & economic development initiatives including launching IoT Waikato (ran for 5 yrs as largest regional tech event in NZ), delivering Techweek Waikato 2018 (20+ events) & 2019 (30+ events), developing a regional digital strategy, hosting TechFest (1 day, 1350+ attendees inc 300+ students), & contributing to Hamilton City Council placing 21st in 2021 Top 50 Smart City Governments (Eden Strategy Institute).
I then moved into leading smart cities activity across ANZ, supported the establishment of the AI Institute at the University of Waikato & the AI Researchers Association, & was Innovation Partner NZ at Aurecon.

An experienced, commercially minded executive with a blend of corporate and entrepreneurial success across global markets. I’ve founded, scaled, and exited ventures, most notably CoVentured — a startup discovery and innovation platform acquired by Ecosystm in June 2024.
At CoVentured, I led the business from early-stage build to a scalable platform serving corporates, VCs, and governments seeking to solve strategic challenges through emerging technologies. My work focused on startup scouting, venture growth, and enabling innovation at scale through a global lens.
At Ecosystm I help large tech vendors and enterprises activate innovation and accelerate growth. By combining research and decision support I lead the development of integrated programs across go-to-market strategy, partner enablement, and ecosystem activation;

With over nineteen years of experience and expertise in driving growth and go-to-market strategies across professional services, fintech, and blockchain landscapes, I have orchestrated complex buyer journeys and driven strong topline growth by evangelizing industry-leading brand narratives. The direct impact of marketing on revenue and profitability should be discernible and not be a matter of opinion. I believe that the power of 'leading with thought' is the power to alter, shape, and inform the 'priors' or frames of reference for emerging phenomena, especially as it relates to shifts in new technologies like AI and web3.
Most recently, I spearheaded product marketing for the institutional custody business (erstwhile Metaco) at Ripple, a pioneer in enterprise blockchains. My role involved championing the institutional adoption of digital assets and exploring groundbreaking tokenization applications beyond traditional cryptocurrencies, particularly within regulated capital markets.
My hard skills include growth, brand strategy, GTM, product marketing, visionary storytelling, and commercializing new value propositions. I love channeling my creative energy by combining human-centered design thinking with the latest research, industry intelligence, and, more recently, GenAI-driven tooling. My ability to build robust ecosystems and partnerships around new products has consistently resulted in industry-leading brand and topline growth.
As an advisory board member of the APAC chapter of the CMO Council, a global network of senior marketing executives, I contribute to shaping the future of marketing leadership. My commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders is unwavering.
