Originally destined to an academic career (Imperial College AI PhD '15), I have become a technical CEO with a deep focus on product and obsession for growth. My professional motivation stems from pushing the boundaries of technology while delivering sophisticated user experiences but what truly drives me is collective success — working with my team to achieve what none of us could on their own. My love of programming started at the tender age of 11. I was (and still am!) passionate about art. One afternoon, I found installation discs for Visual Studio 6.0 in my father's drawer—expecting a fancy new drawing software, I installed the program. After a short-lived initial disappointment, I was hooked! I was instantly fascinated by this new creative process: programming. Since then I gained well over a decade of experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade, high performance multi-platform network code and distributed systems, including B2C apps. I'm technology agnostic and I worked with numerous technologies over the years spanning low-level languages, high-level languages, relational, non-relational and semantic databases. My mantra is to design testable, fault tolerant and easy to maintain code-bases while avoiding vendor lock-in as much as possible.
