Experienced Dispute Resolution professional with particular focus on disputes involving technology, IP and corporate law. In the core of my practice is acting as counsel, as an arbitrator and a mediator in commercial disputes in various sectors, eg. IT, energy, contruction, media and new technologies. In addition to my traditional dispute resolution practice, I have strong interest in conflict avoidance, conflict management and mediation. My ultimate goal is to find the best suitable way for resolving a conflict in each individual case. Sometimes the solution is a full-scale dispute, sometimes mediation, often negotiation, pure and simple. The ultimately best way to resolve a conflict, in my opinion, is to avoid it altogether. The second being a negotiated settlement where the parties find a way to set aside their differences and create something more for both of them. I am member in the Mediation Committee of the Finnish Bar Association.

As a lawyer, I am precise and organized. I have a great interest in cross-border legal cases where conflict situations are solved by using facts from several sources and where different perspectives need to be considered. My exceptional, skills in the legal field are in argumentation and legal research. As a person, I am outgoing and positive. I like to bring out my opinion, but I see that listening to others is more important because that way it is possible to deepen my understanding. I am an open-minded, self-driven, target-oriented, and logical thinker who is interested in how issues affect each other and form a big picture. In general group, works and projects are my strengths, but I also like to do individual work.
