Ben has been building cohesive teams and companies from the ground up and scaling them fast across Europe and the US for 12+ years. He is a french serial entrepreneur and business angel "AMF certified" with a background in business law. Ben launched on-demand delivery platform Stuart right when the gig economy began its boom – so navigating delicate regulatory environments is nothing new to him. The company raised €22M pre-launch and was acquired by La Poste. It now operates in 120+ cities with over 750 employees. At Shares, Ben is deploying a unique technological strategy, with internally developed platforms to meet the demands of individual savings, collective retirement savings, and financial institutions. These platforms cover all investment and distribution strategies, both directly and via advisors, while integrating the entire value chain, from front to back. Shares offers a comprehensive range of solutions: - Mobile and web front-end platforms for retail investors, financial advisors (CGP), and employee savings plans. - Various investment wrappers, including securities accounts, business accounts, tax wrappers like “PEA” in France, …etc - Modular platforms, available via API, custom-built or turnkey, enabling businesses to leverage advanced technology aligned with their strategic goals. Since its inception, Shares has raised $90 million across three funding rounds from Valar Ventures (the fund of PayPal founder Peter Thiel), Singular, Global Founders Capital, and Red Sea Ventures to accelerate its development and the construction of its front-to-back platform. The Williams sisters have also joined the venture as brand ambassadors. The company currently employs 110 people across France, the UK, and Poland.
