I’m a software engineer with a lot of experience in the fintech & payments space. I’ve worked for the top YCombinator backed payment startups in Africa (Flutterwave & Paystack), as well as a Robo-advisory firm in the UAE (Sarwa).
Currently, I work at Dapi building the payment infrastructure for the Middle East.
I’ve assumed various roles over the last few years: software engineer, product manager, team lead, customer support manager, scrum master & data analyst.
Tech stack wise, I try to stay current with the technologies so I’ve built products in PHP, Node.js, Python, React & React Native.

With over 6 years at the forefront of Fintech & web3 innovations at startups, I've built a strong foundation in both technical and product management roles, often stepping up as a leader when needed.
My journey began as a Software Engineer, where I gained a strong technical foundation in backend systems. This experience was invaluable when I transitioned to Product Manager at Dapi. In this role, I led cross-functional teams of designers, engineers, and marketers to launch key products, including Oramp, a global fiat-to-crypto onramp network and payment platform. I spearheaded the launch of an A2A payment solution for Mastercard's Payment Gateway, generating over $1M in revenue. I also drove the launch of a B2B Banking as a Service product and expansion of our Open Banking and Treasury flagship products into the US market, increasing the user base by more than 300%.
My startup experience includes a tenure at Bond Financial Technologies, where I built BaaS APIs and played a key role in shaping the architecture of multiple internal products. I worked with Ethereum smart contracts at a DeFi startup, Union Finance, and trained deep learning computer vision models at Synapse. My academic background from UC Berkeley in Cognitive Science complements my startup experience, ensuring I approach problem-solving with a rigorous, data-driven approach.
With my innate empathy for end-users and my passion for financial inclusion, I've been able to bridge the gap between complex technical requirements and tangible business outcomes. This unique blend of customer empathy and technical acumen has made me a pivotal asset in early-stage startups, ensuring that products are not just innovative but also deeply resonate with the people they serve. My leadership, rooted in understanding and advocating for the end-user, positions me as a Product Manager who can truly drive products that matter.
