Jason Bystrak is senior vice president of the D&H Distributing Modern Solutions Business Unit (BU) which helps channel partners develop and execute practices in transformative technology categories including applications, infrastructure, security and collaboration. The BU provides resources to design, implement and manage solutions with complex delivery requirements such as hybrid cloud, managed services and XaaS using advanced operational tools and platforms to support flexible consumption models. The company's professional services, technical enablement and customer success teams are an integral part of the BU. Prior to joining D&H, Bystrak served as the vice president of worldwide channels and distribution at Axcient, a leading cloud data protection provider. In this role, he was responsible for managing and executing the company’s distribution strategy, identifying and cultivating technology alliance partnerships, and enhancing and evangelizing partner programs. Bystrak spent over two decades at a major technology distribution company, and was a founding executive within their global cloud business unit. He was the global executive director for technology partner enablement, leading the expansion of the company’s ecosystem of technology partners and ISV’s. He was also the executive director for the Americas cloud business where he led the sales, marketing, and vendor management teams responsible for driving profitable growth and operational excellence for the division and its channel partners. He has served as the chair of the Channel Development Advisory Council and cloud community for CompTIA, and has been named to ChannelPro-SMB’s list of 20/20 Visionaries, as well as CRN’s 100 People You Don’t Know But Should. He frequently offers insight into the opportunity and future of cloud at strategic industry events, including CompTIA’s ChannelCon, Channel Partners and IT Nation. Bystrak studied at State University of New York at Buffalo and Erie Community College. He lives in Buffalo, New York, with his wife and daughter. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, reading, sports, listening to and performing music.
