As a strategist, advisor, and educator who straddles the business and design worlds, I serve as a thought and operating partner to leaders navigating ambiguous futures. A builder and systems thinker at heart, I’m particularly drawn to opportunities to create new models that blur the line between values-driven and for-profit organizations and have worked with global enterprise executives, non-profit leaders, and hundreds of inspiring entrepreneurs.
Currently, Founding Partner of da/rk with Richard Kelly. We’re on a mission to humanize our economic models for shared value because we believe the increasing uncertainty and complexity of our world demands (and deserves!) fundamentally new and adaptive ways forward.
Previously, as both an intrapreneur and entrepreneur, I’ve led the design and development of five purposeful organizations including WeWork’s global 'cultureOS’ business, which drove revenue growth by helping C-Suite executives think and act differently about culture and the role it plays in their businesses, and the Brooklyn Fashion + Design Accelerator, which focused on sustainable and ethical businesses.
I love sharing the stories of impact of the communities of which I am a part and am regularly invited to do so globally. I have taught human-centered design and research at SVA, IIT Institute of Design, CEDIM in México, and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, where I was the Inaugural Chair for the BFA in Visual Communication.
An international creative director, filmmaker and photographer for the past ten years, I have strong technical and cinematographic expertise developed through working in a variety of settings and in over 10 countries, from creating children’s programs for French TV channels to shooting conferences and promotional videos for multinational companies. I have an excellent track record managing creative teams and freelancers as well as liaising with stakeholders such as private clients and country offices. A strong independent worker, I am able to adapt to different working, social and cultural contexts, having shot in corporate settings with state of the arts equipment (Red, Phantom), as well as in sensitive and challenging environments such as Qatar or Ethiopia.
Currently working as in-house Senior Creative Director / Video Producer for the Tokyo-based blockchain company Cardano/Emurgo, I manage a team of international filmmakers and photographers. My responsibilities include pre-production (e.g. organising interviews, writing scripts…), filming, editing and producing online video content to a high standard for their global platform. I have so far produced and directed a series of short promotional documentaries focusing on the benefits of the technology in the U.S, Japan and Ethiopia. Prior to this, I worked as Senior Creative Director / Video Producer for the world leading ship-broking company Clarksons, producing promotional videos, animations and infographics for internal and external purposes. As manager of the team, I was responsible for quality assurance, ensuring brand guidelines and briefs were adhered to by both in-house and freelance employees. I also led on creative photography, contributing my skills to large advertising campaigns.
With over 10 years of multidisciplinary experience, I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with national and international clients such as Krispy Kreme, Hasbro, and REEF, with my work featured in renowned publications including Creative Review, Computer Arts Magazine, and People of Print.
Specialising in typography within a freelance capacity, my skill set spans a wide range of mediums, including design, illustration, animation, and marketing. I’m passionate about pushing aesthetic boundaries, blending creativity with strategic thinking to deliver results-driven designs.
My experience as a Lecturer, alongside my expertise in delivering workshops for individuals and organisations, has allowed me to fulfil my passion for advocating and celebrating creativity within the region. I’m dedicated to mentoring and supporting the next generation of creative talent.
