My team, colleagues and family call me Judith, even when most are tempted to slip in the occasional "Judy" here and there. The competitive spirit in me set in as a tender 9 year old – when I won a bare-foot race down the streets of my childhood neighborhood in Suriname (Go ahead Google it!)
After 17 years in progressive talent acquisition and employment branding roles, I get just as excited today about competing and winning by bringing brilliant people together to accelerate innovation and grow awesome concepts and products!
What do most colleagues remember about me? I partner with leaders to think differently, to drive sustainable change, and work on inspiring teams to lead with their hearts. My own team knows we don’t win, unless it’s a win: together.
I’m proudly invested in creating magic – 1 hire at a time.

⬅️ I swore I'd never work a desk job; attending meeting after meeting, wearing starched, uncomfortable clothes, and sitting for hours at a time, all underneath a beige office umbrella felt like my version of hell. So when I found myself discontentedly bouncing from a job working on a lacrosse field, to a job in a Title I school, to a job at UC Berkeley, you can imagine my confusion.
➡️ It turns out that I really love desk jobs; a well run meeting gives me deep satisfaction, I like putting on real pants on office days, I often get lost in thought for hours at a time doing deep focus work, and the buildings I've had the privilege of working in aren't beige at all. I never thought "desk jobs" could provide me the opportunities they have; improving collaboration and decision-making among leaders, planning and executing an $800K C-Suite event, helping an organization launch products more effectively, the list goes on. The common thread is developing individuals, teams, and organizations to be the best versions of themselves and Anthropic is the most interesting challenge yet. In many ways, I'm just getting started here, and I can't wait to see what happens. 🚀 💕
