Hello! I’m a digital craftsman hailing from the coal-speckled valleys of Scranton, PA, on a mission to ensure a secure, open, and inclusive digital realm. With a toolkit brewed from legal requisites, IT risk management, a sprinkle of business analysis, and a dash of caffeine, I joust daily with digital quandaries, striving for a more respectful and ethical digital ecosystem. As an 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐅𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐫, I stand tall for free expression, security, privacy, creativity, and access to knowledge. This mantra fuels my endeavors, be it within the boardrooms or the buzzing online forums. My journey has seen me donning several hats - a vanguard in the 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐈𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐔𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝗪𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 (𝐑𝐈𝐔𝐏 𝗪𝐆) at Kantara Initiative, a thoughtful contributor in the 𝗪𝟯𝗖’𝘀 𝗖𝗢𝗚𝗔 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽, and a decisive Voting Member of the 𝐈𝐄𝐄𝐄'𝐬 𝟳𝟎𝟏𝟐 - 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐬 𝗪𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩. Regionally, I just finished up the 𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝗣l𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝟯 at the Northern Tier Regional Planning & Development Commission, amplifying the digital presence of small businesses in the Northern Tier region. My stint as a Research and Development Lead at a private agrotechnology company thrust me into realms of renewable energy and pharmaceutical ventures, while my role as an Adjunct Professor at Lackawanna College forged future tech mavens. On the volunteer frontier, my tenure at 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐭 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐬 as a 𝐂𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝗣𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐫 has been all about brewing innovative solutions to enhance online safety and privacy. Now, en route to becoming a 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝗣𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝗣𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 (𝐂𝐈𝗣𝗣/𝐔𝐒), I am keen to explore the murky waters of computational propaganda and digital harms at Binghamton University.
