I am a passionate advocate for Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), the emerging technology sector that encompasses autonomous aviation, uncrewed aerial systems, smart infrastructure, and sustainable propulsion. With over 15 years of professional experience spanning air operations, humanitarian aid, supply chain logistics, public safety communications, and entrepreneurship, I have the skills and knowledge to promote smart tech policy for the common good and to help organizations navigate the unknown. As a prior US Air Force Captain, Part 61 private pilot, and Part 107 drone pilot, I have the leadership and direct operational experience in Uncrewed Aerial System Traffic Management (UTM) to help guide the nascent AAM industry with sound rationale, leveraging best practices, and proven techniques. As the Founder & President of the Advanced Air Mobility Institute, the world’s largest international non-profit research center dedicated to AAM, I collaborate with government regulators, industry executives, academic scholars, and community leaders, to shape the future of transportation. I serve on the World Economic Forum AVIATE Committee and lead as Executive Producer of the Pulitzer Trophy – the first Electric Aircraft Race in history. I utilize my education with graduate degrees in law, business, and economics to deliver engaging keynote speeches including NASA’s inaugural UAS Symposium as well as the United Nations’ aviation agency, ICAO, for the inaugural AAM Symposium which attracted 3x more attendees than any other in the past 80 years.
