Scott is a seasoned and skilled Financial Professional and Director, executive and/or non-exec.
Areas of attention include Risk Management, Finance, Audit and Compliance. He has an excellent understanding of today’s regulatory environment & expectations and (corporate) governance discussions.
Under his leadership, a transition of the Compliance Division was materialized, group-wide, and he managed to strengthen processes, for example in the areas of AML, KYC, customer onboarding and transaction monitoring in the past 2 years.
As Chief Risk Officer, he successfully managed both the financial and non-financial risks (such as ERM, Credit Risk, ALM and ICAAP). He implemented IT risk frameworks.
As chartered accountant with experience in financial audit, Scott established a local Internal Audit function from scratch and created a Group-wide Audit Department with over 50 auditors.
Scott is intrinsically motivated to improve matters and with his open mindset and intercultural views, he has a solution-driven attitude that takes into account views from different angles.
