A biopharmaceutical professional with fourteen years of research and development experience in the areas of cellular and gene therapies. My specialty areas are Drug Discovery, Process Development, Tech Transfer, Analytical Development, Quality Control testing support Phase I/II GMP cell and gene therapy manufacturing. My main strength is that I am both an unusually fast, adept experimentalist while also being driven to understand the deeper underlying mechanism behind what we observe and the connections between seemingly disparate fields. Working for both large and small companies has allowed me to gain a broad depth of experience in many relevant areas: R&D, PD, Quality, etc. Understanding the full life cycle of a product from research to PD to manufacturing to delivering to the patient has given me a broad depth of experience. Those experiences have not only allowed me bridging basic research with clinical and translational relevance, but also have allowed me to drive process improvements and efficiencies in a timely manner while maintaining cGMP compliance.
