As Chief Legal & Philanthropy Officer for Pledge 1%, a nonprofit founded by Marc Benioff and Scott Farquhar, whose mission is to inspire, educate and empower every company to be a force for good by donating 1% of their time, product, profits and/or equity, I have helped companies like Airbnb, Braze, Chime, Reddit, Rubrik, Toast, Unity and more unlock over $2.4B in new philanthropy. I authored playbooks on how companies can donate equity to fund their social impact work, lead the Boardroom Allies, a coalition of leading vcs who have committed to supporting their companies in setting aside equity, and represent the organization at key industry events, securing partnerships with leading technology companies, venture capitalists, investment banks, and exchanges. I am a venture partner at 4 funds, sourcing deal flow and mentoring founders, and a frequent public speaker on negotiating strategies, entrepreneurship, corporate social responsibility, and promoting diversity in the workplace.
